The location of this hotel is ideal, situated on a cliff in the heart of a charming Greek village. From the hotel, it is just a short walk to the port where you can admire the beautiful views of the Aegean Sea. The owner's taverna, Parthenon Taverna, is conveniently located in the center of Olympos and offers breathtaking views from its rooftop terrace. The owner, Mr Nikos, speaks excellent English and is known for his kindness and helpfulness. The comfortable rooms provide a perfect retreat after a day exploring the island of Karpathos.
The hotel lacked some basic amenities, such as a consistent service person attending to cleaning and maintenance tasks.

The panoramic view from our balcony was unbeatable, overlooking the sea. The owner, Nikos, was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about the island. He even went out of his way to collect us and our heavy bags from the parking area using a "mechanical donkey" to transport them up the hill. The beds were comfortable and the free WiFi in our room worked well. Staying in Olympos was a unique experience, with fewer tourists at night and friendly interactions with the local shop owners.
Felt like part of the family, no reason to complain.

Stunning location with amazing views of the sea, sunset, and village. Close to village center with beautiful church, tavernas, and shops. Friendly and helpful owner who shares local history and culture. Basic yet clean room with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Lively taverna nearby serving great food and popular among locals. Highly recommended.

As longer term business travellers, we absolutely loved the warm and welcoming owners of this lovely family-run hotel. The friendly and helpful staff made us feel right at home throughout our stay. The highlight for us was definitely the delicious food served at their taverna. The lamb dish was the best we've ever tasted! The apartment was spacious and clean, and the views from the balcony were priceless. The location of the hotel was perfect, with easy access to everything we needed. We couldn't recommend this place higher and will definitely miss it!
We felt incredibly looked after during our stay and have no complaints whatsoever.

The view from the balcony was absolutely stunning and made my Christmas stay at the hotel truly memorable. The hotel is perched on a cliff, providing an exceptional view of the endless sea. Watching the sunset from the balcony was a surreal experience. the room was comfortable and had everything I needed, including a newly renovated bathroom. The light breeze that circulates the room was also a great advantage, as it made the room feel comfortable without needing air conditioning.
One of the major downsides of staying at this hotel during Christmas was the limited accessibility to Olympos. There were rarely any buses, and walking from the port to Olympos was quite challenging due to the high elevation.

Stunning views, peaceful atmosphere, and accessible owners. Quaint village location with comfortable amenities and a nearby tavern. Ideal for exploring the area's beautiful hikes and beaches. Outstanding host who is friendly, helpful, and a great storyteller. A hidden gem for an authentic village experience.

The view from our room was absolutely breathtaking, with a panoramic view of the surrounding area. The location was also a highlight, as it provided a peaceful and authentic village experience. Additionally, the owner of the hotel was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, providing us with interesting information about the island.
The cleanliness of the room could have been improved, and our balcony was in need of some maintenance. We also would have preferred if the room was cleaned daily, including the emptying of the bathroom trash bin and the changing of sheets, rather than having to request it.
